Logline: Two oddly similar stories intertwine with each other as a documentary filmmaker interviews real life individuals in New York City about the story behind their name, while a boy born without a name embarks on a journey to inspire a name for himself.


This film contains an abundant amount of amazing/real stories associated with the concept of name-giving and how that name has affected your life and your relationship with the world so far.

Subconsciously, I believe we all understand that names are the most important aspect of our identities because it bridges the outside world and our psyche. When you meet someone new, you shake their hands and ask: "What is your name?". It is the first thing we need to group together a person's appearance with their personality, allowing us to envision this certain perspective of them in our heads.

"The Boy Without A Name" is all of the souls out there that are lost on the road to self-discovery. I hope the film strikes some thought into our own names and what it truly means to us. There's a long journey ahead of us and it's first on the stop.
